If you love the design of the ProArt range of ASUS products but can’t justify the outlay for the X870E or Z890 options, the company finally has a more affordable option with a lower end 800-series chipset. The ProArt B850-Creator Wi-Fi Neo is one of ASUS’s latest refresh Socket AM5 models for 800-series chipsets, that comes with new features as well as the striking ProArt design.
Unlike most previous B850 motherboards, we now have dual PCIe Gen 5 M.2 ports and these have dedicated lanes that aren’t shared with other devices. The BIOS size has doubled from 256 Mbit (32 MB) to 512 Mbit (64 MB) to allow for driver integration, future features and potentially CPU support, and the list of upgrades from the B650 predecessor is even more extensive.
